Luohti & Livđe- konsertti
Milla Pulska from Vuohčču, Heli Aikio from Anár and John Mathis Utsi from Kárášjohka bring the traditonal luohti & livđe to this years Ijahis idja.
Milla Elmiina Pulska, Gáppe Biera Jovnna Ristena Milla, is an artist from Vuohčču, who’s known from the band Ravggon. Yoiking is increasingly included in Milla’s music projects and her interest in traditional yoik has increased over the years.
Heli Aikio, Piätárii Kaab’ Isá Ooni Heli, is a master of the traditional livđe tradition, lyricist, musician and music composer. Aikio has participated in the Sámi Grand Prix competition in 2014, 2019, 2023 and 2025. Aikio first performed at Ijahis Idja in 2006, when one of the main themes of the festival was the Inari Sámi musical tradition.
John Mathis Utsi, John Máhtte Utsi, is a Sámi yoiker from Karasjoki, Norway. He has won the Sámi Grand Prix twice and is known for his strong knowledge of the traditional yoik tradition. His debut album Luohti vuolgá (2019) combines traditional and new yoiks that depict the life and people of the north.
