Jon Henrik Fjällgren is one of the headliners for this year’s Ijahis Idja music festival. His music combines modern music with traditional Sámi yoik. Fjällgren became known to the wider public after winning Sweden’s Talent competition in 2014. Since then, he has taken part in Sweden’s Eurovision selection contest Melodifestivalen four times, placing second (2015), third (2017) and twice fourth (2019 and 2023).

Over the course of his career, Fjällgren has released several albums and recently has focused particularly on releasing singles. His latest single, “Old Paths”, was released in 2025. In 2025, Fjällgren received the Áillohaš Music Award. He previously performed at the Ijahis Idja festival in August 2021.

The Ijahis Idja festival will be held in Inari on 14–15 August 2026.
